t- 2 Hours 'Til Posting

This is a watercolor on paper, originally just under 13" by just under 16". It's a tribute to a friend of mine who is a junior co-author of a great fan-fic that she spends many late nights working on. I was teasing her the other day and I got the urge to illustrate it (originally it had a text "voice-over" that went with it, but I can't find that right now).

I'm trying to become more skilled with watercolors, and this was more a practice run. I used 2 brushes a 1" flat brush for the large areas, and a #4 round brush for everything else. I'm very pleased with the way the fingers on the laptop turned out! (oh, and the blue thing on her lap is a pillow)
